Questions
& Answers
Q:
What is permanent make-up?
A:
Permanent make-up is the process of implanting tiny dots of
pigments to the skin. This is known as Micropigmentation.

A:
Yes, it is on the order of tattooing but is not as aggressive.

Where do you apply permanent make-up?
A:
There are several areas on the face that are commonly
done: Eyeliner, Eyebrows, Beauty Marks, and Lipliner.
Q:

alopecia (all over hair loss).

more defined look.
Q:
How is it done?
A:
The process is done with an implanter which looks much like a
fountain pen. There is a tiny needle probe (sterile and
disposable) at the tip of the implanter which rapidly moves in and
out to ensure proper insertion of pigments.
Q:
Does it hurt?
A:
Some clients find it more uncomfortable than others. The
comparison would be like electrolysis or sharp pinching. A
topical anesthetic can be applied to alleviate any pain.
Q:
Is it natural looking?
A:
Yes, because the purpose is to naturally enhance your
eyes or lips. The color chosen should also reflect your
natural skin tones and eye color. If you like a more dramatic
look you will need to apply cosmetics to enhance it.
Q:
If I am Interested in having this done,
what should I do?
A:
The best thing to do is make an appointment for a consultation;
at this time your personal needs will be discussed. You will
be shown photos of clients who have permanent make-up. Colors,
an allergy test, paperwork, and any questions that concern you will
be answered. There is a $25.00 fee which is applicable towards your
procedure.
A
video demonstration of the eyeliner procedure is available at
request for $19.95.
