Permanent Cosmetics

Now you can have the pleasure of never applying your eyeliner, lip liner, or eye pencil again! Permanent cosmetics is the make-up for the new millennium.

The process is compared to tattooing, however, it's not as aggressive and is only in the epidermal layer of skin.  The look is very natural and is designed to enhance the eyes and brows.  Christy is the technician and is board certified in micro pigmentation.

Christine Micucki

Diane Sinclair

"I thought it was such a great service, especially since it saves me so much time in the morning.  My husband loves it too."

Carol Spencer

"It was great when I was in the hospital.  I felt better about my appearance, knowing that I would be unable to wear any make-up during and after my surgery.  I referred a few nurses that really thought it looked great and natural.  Thanks again for making me look and feel better!"

Maryanne Myslinski

"Thank you for making my life easier.  I don't stress out about not having my eyebrows penciled in.  My eyebrows never looked better!"

Questions & Answers

Q: What is permanent make-up?

A: Permanent make-up is the process of implanting tiny dots of pigments to the skin.  This is known as Micropigmentation.

Q:  Is it like Tattooing?

A:  Yes, it is on the order of tattooing but is not as aggressive.

Q:  Where do you apply permanent make-up?

A:  There are several areas on the face that are commonly done:  Eyeliner, Eyebrows, Beauty Marks, and Lipliner.

Q:  Who would benefit from permanent make-up?

A:  Women who have scant brows due to over plucking, scars, or alopecia (all over hair loss).

  • Great for people who workout, swimmers, or any active person.  It won't wear off.

  • It's easy for client who wear eye glasses and find it difficult to apply their own make-up.

  • Saves time for clients who find applying their eyebrows pencil difficult and time consuming.

  • Anyone who has a loss of uneven lip line, it gives lips a fuller and more defined look.

Q:  How is it done?

A:  The process is done with an implanter which looks much like a fountain pen.  There is a tiny needle probe (sterile and disposable) at the tip of the implanter which rapidly moves in and out to ensure proper insertion of pigments.

Q:  Does it hurt?

A:  Some clients find it more uncomfortable than others.  The comparison would be like electrolysis or sharp pinching.  A topical anesthetic can be applied to alleviate any pain.

Q:  Is it natural looking?

A:  Yes, because the purpose is to naturally enhance your eyes or lips.  The color chosen should also reflect your natural skin tones and eye color.  If you like a more dramatic look you will need to apply cosmetics to enhance it.

Q:  If I am Interested in having this done, what should I do?

A:  The best thing to do is make an appointment for a consultation; at this time your personal needs will be discussed.  You will be shown photos of clients who have permanent make-up.  Colors, an allergy test, paperwork, and any questions that concern you will be answered. There is a $25.00 fee which is applicable towards your procedure.

A video demonstration of the eyeliner procedure is available at request for $19.95.
